Studying and Relearning Everything

These past few days, i have been going through the lessons at Jomar Hilario's Online Mentoring Club again and everytime i do that i learn new things. Things that have been there but i failed to take note of. Other times i know how to do it but then when i am blogging i forget how to do it so i need to go over the lessons again.
Its nice that its available for me on line and that i can just go to the site anytime i want.
On the other hand, on being a Virtual Assistant , i have verified my oDesk and now i am happy to note that i can now look for 20 jobs. I have been looking for a job but then i am not so sure if i can do it knowing that i have a lot of things to do. Next week we have visitors and after that my son's graduation from highschool then we move to a new house. All these are overwhelming and i am afraid that if i accept a job i won't be able to give it my all. Maybe i should start applying when all things have settled down and that would be probably sometime October of this year.

Learnings From the Heart

Everyday is a learning in progress. Everyday there are lots and tons of things that we learn. From a simple way of doing things such as the computer to a more complex thing as stock exchange and money market.

In my quest to be a Virtual Assistant, i have discovered a lot of things.

Using Dropbox to place my file on and is accessible everywhere i go. I can also share it with my friends. In fact, i have been promoting its use that i saw one time that my son was using it already. It is very useful since if ever your files are corrupted, then it is readily available.

I have been using Word,Excel and Powerpoint a lot. In fact among my peers ( you know i belong to the category who are more indulge in shopping and or doing household chores rather than doing things on a computer)they brand me as a techie person ( meaning a person who can do computers). Now this VA work has expanded my life to not only internet browsing but to a more complex one.

I am so happy that i have ventured into this new world. Now i can say i am up to date.

Fifth Assignment- VA

Today, i am so happy. Finally, i am able to finish my assignments. The fifth assignment is a powerpoint/pdf on How to make a note using Evernote.
Eversince i started using this, it has helped me a lot. I am able to retrieve notes even if i am not using my computer or i am using my iPad. I am so excited to use this.

First Assignment of a Virtual Assistant

Today, i began to digest what Nikki Hidalgo, Jomar's virtual assistant sent me. I listened to the audio and at the same time read the powerpoint presentation that came with it. At first  i had a hard time listening to it until i downloaded the video.
I also tried to do the first assignment which is the HOW TO DO IT?
The first How to do it powerpoint that i made is HOW TO USE INTUIT BILLING MANAGER.
But my problem now is how to embed it in this blog. But i will try to learn how to do it.
Will get back to this blog as soon as i have done it
This is a trial .....
